This is the second time I’ve had an issue with abrupt, rude, patronising customer service representatives, so I thought I would post a review. The clothes are lovely, and when everything goes well I couldn’t be happier. But twice I have had to phone to speak to customer services, and both times have been made to feel stupid and somehow at fault, even though both times me and em were in the wrong, and grudgingly admitted it. I don’t know where you get your customer service people from, but please choose/train them to be polite, it’s as basic as that. It would make all the difference

Purchased a dress online but when it arrived it had obviously been pre-worn (possibly an earlier customer return) and had a very unpleasant body odour scent . I emailed customer services to express my disappointment and returned said item for a refund . Ten days later I’m STILL awaiting my refund and on contacting customer services I’m told I have to wait 14 days before they would consider chasing this up. Terrible service in this day and age and has certainly dissuaded me from using this company ever again .

Shocking delivery... paid next day delivery on Friday and no notifucation of dispatch by Tuesday. . Called to cheese and told they don’t offer next day delivery at present despite taking payment for it ... was told as also as order placed Friday after cut off of 3pm not processed until Monday and even then won’t be dispatched until Tuesday for delivery Wednesday !!! ... which is next day delivery!!! ... asked to speak with manager .. none available .. customer service unhelpful ... having bought from them for years really disappointed as used to be amazing .. seems to have slipped somewhat!

Really terrible service for exchanges and returns. My return was received by them 11 days ago but they refuse to refund before 14 days has passed.My exchange on a previous order took one whole month and many phone calls to process.

It is always interesting how customer service and returns function when ordering from a new store on-line, but I must say dealing with the ME+EM customer service/returns have been very good an unproblematic. Very nice clothing also, true to on line photos!

Have recently bought several items. Beautiful clothes, great wrapping and packaging and good follow up. I returned some - I had deliberately over ordered and so I hope the returns experience is as good as the first part of the process.

Reading reviews, really made me nervous to order. Company needs to up their game first, as 32% bad reviews needs to be addressed.

After calling Me+Em this morning to re order a smaller size in a (too big) outfit I’d already received, my request was dealt with politely, efficiently and effectually.. even waivering the second postage costs.I’ve yet to experience the returns procedure but I’m sure that will go through without issue.

I have been a loyal customer to Me and Em over 3 years because the clothing suits my style and the quality is generally excellent. Reading other customer reviews, the main issue is the returns policy where the company is accused of hanging on to money even when the item is in the warehouse. In my experience returning to refund acknowledgement has usually been 2 weeks. I tend to call customer services after 2 weeks to prompt an email confirming a refund. I definitely think this is something they have improved on and would agree there is still room for improvement as it isn't helping what could be an excellent reputation. The other criticism is receiving unwashed clothes which I have never experienced or off hand customer services. Vanessa is absolutely excellent when dealing with any questions I may have and actions requests promptly. I think if you find something you like you encourage improvement rather than discredit a potentially excellent company.

Terrible customer service. I rang to ask for some help regarding a change of size ( I bought a size smaller than I usually do as the sizing info suggested and it’s still huge).The help was non existent and I was made to feel I had interrupted something much more important.I now have to repackage the product, take it to the post and wait. Their shop 50 metres away does not offer click and collect. Didn’t I know we are in lockdown! I will never buy from here again.

Beautiful well made clothes, yes expensive but worth it, sizes run up a little bigger so go down a size. One of my favourite higher end stores. Super.

Terribly slow at refunds. I always have to call customer services to chase up. I do not think I should have to wait 14 days for refund once I have returned an item, the price point is quite high for ME&EM clothing and when they are holding on to your money it causes an issue. Come on get your act together and start and process refunds quicker like other brands.
